We enjoy coming here for a good beer selection, good food, great onion rings, good atmosphere and nice employees. Really homey, too.

When I come here, I always get the corned beef sandwich, excellent!! They have added a few things like smoked pulled pork . Haven't tried it myself but my co-worker loved it. I notice on some reviews that nobody greeted them or showed them to a table. Well..there's a sign when you first walk in to seat yourself. And we were greeted by the staff when we walked in.

Very good food and a nice atmosphere. The Irish stew is delicious and the onion rings are excellent.

No one greeted us upon entry. Had to ask the bartender (whom was our server as well) if we seat ourselves. They are nice people, they just need to know that you should greet everyone that comes through your door. We were leery about what to order since it's hard to find good restaurants in this area, so we asked what the best items were. Well, we ordered both of those items, which were the artichoke spinach panini and the corned beef sandwich. The panini was really tasteless and not browned at all. My fiance had the corned beef sandwich. He said the corned beef tasted weird. The quality was equivalent to bar food. It is a really a nice environment with nice people. We may go back again to try the burgers, but we'll basically go back just for cocktails since it's a nice place with a stocked bar.

Great place to watch the game and have a beer or five. Chips and curry, Irish egg rolls, and pulled pork sandwiches came out piping hot and delicious. Our friends who joined us had corned beef sandwiches and fish and chips--both were great. The fish was especially nice; the breading was flavorful, light, and not too greasy, and the fish was tender and substantial.

This was a very cute pub. Lots of food and drink selections. They are fairly inexpensive. I had the nachos and they were pretty good. There were other items that I would have liked to have tried such as the fried pickles and the potato soup!

Poor service. Food quality is bad. I ordered the all you can eat fish and chips. When I asked for a refill, the waitress said " oh huh, I thought you ordered the regular fish and chips, not the special". She would not give me refills. Now who would assuMe there are two fish and chips on one menu? My wife got the Irish sampler, it all tasted like greasy dog food. No thanks. Never again

The Pub has a great atmosphere, the decor and hardware of the restaurant helps you to believe your in a authentic Irish Pub. Sometimes on the weekends local bands play and really bring the place to life. The last time I ate there, I choose the Shepards Pie and it was delicious, warm and authentic.

Everyone has been raving about this place. So we decided to check it out on a Tuesday evening. We walked in, but were not greeted by anyone. We weren't quite sure if we should just sit wherever or wait to be seated; but, nobody paid any attention to us. So we decided to just sit wherever. Guess I'm used to being greeted when I go into a restaurant. We ordered a pint, some Chili and a Corned Beef sandwich and a salad. The pint was a perfect pour. The chili was okay. My salad was wet and limp like it had been sitting in a bath too long. My sandwich was very good. It had caramelized onions and cheese. Total damage $17. Not too bad. When we left, nobody said goodbye and our waitress ignored us. Beginning to wonder why I left a 20+ % tip. All in all, the poor service wasn't enough to keep me away. After all, that was just one waitress. I'd like to go back and try more menu options and see if the service improves.

I never go to New Carlisle. I was waiting for a friend, as I was going to pick him up after work. I stopped in for a drink and a bite to eat. I was greatly surprised with how great the service and food was!

as pointed out atmosphere is nice but service is deplorable. sit at bar and its ok but at a table and you will experience the worst service around. staff just not attentive whatsoever. it is clear they do not care. many people don't return after have been there once due to service. beer prices ok. food is ok at best and often bad. main problem is they tend to skimp on portions. also there is very little consistency from one order to the next. still go occasionally just for a change of scenery sine im local. if i was not local would never have returned.

Great customer service. I left my cap at the bar. When I realized I didn't have it a few days later, I contacted them and they confirmed they had it. However we were then on our way to Florida for the winter and they said they would send it to me. I received it a few days later. Many kudos to them thank you.

Nice atmosphere-- seems clean and not too crowded on a Saturday night. We were 4 altogether and sat ourselves off to the side. There was a man singing and playing guitar, which was a nice touch. We arrived at about 9:30pm. Our issues were with the service and the food. The young man helping us seemed like he was either distracted, or simply didn't want to be there that evening. All right, everyone has a rough night now and again-- but even after our trying to be friendly and cheerful, he wasn't biting. I ordered a chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun and a side soup. The sandwich came with exactly that. No lettuce, tomato, no pickle, no cheese, no sauce, nothing. Not even a garnish. There was ketchup and mustard at the table, so I put that on for some flavor. The soup of the day, chicken and rice, was unfortunately just as bland as the sandwich. S ordered pulled pork nachos and ate them only because he was starving. He said the chips were stale, the liquid cheese on top was likely out of a can, as was the pulled pork. Our friend ordered the Irish Egg rolls and couldn't quite stomach them, even though she's never one to complain. And they were also served plain, though they were meant to come with a sauce. Granted, this is a bar, but it's supposed to be a restaurant too. Overall, the less than par service and the poor attention to the food left a bad taste in our mouths.

Went back and my opinion has totally changed. We were charged $9.00 for half stale chips and lukewarm cheese and was misled by the waitress about the price. Plus, the food wasn't that great this time around. Portions were small and left hungry. Won't go back.

The food was good. I had the BBQ nachos that was good. Could have used more meat but all together good. The main course I had the Ruben. Which was amazing. The meat was absolutely tender as could be. Amazing. My only gripes are for an Irish pub we didn't feel you had as many Irish choices. More of sandwiches and a few Irish meal choices. The mixed drinks were awful. Whoever was behind the bar doesn't know how to make an old fashion. All together it was decent. Wait staff was good, good good, Irish choices limited, and mixed drinks terrible. After the one drink I went to beer which was better.
